Before I even knew about graphic design, digital photography was my preferred medium. Throughout high school I would often meet up with friends from school and local kids who shared the same interests and we would spend a lot of time taking photos together, in particular one of my good friends who is now a film major. When I first started out with graphic design I would often use these pictures we took throughout high school (and still do when I’m home) as inspiration for my pieces. Drawing people is my favorite type of work, and having a lot of access to good quality photos definitely played a role in that.
